Three Great Looking Display Stands Under $1K
If you’re feeling penned in by your budget and are afraid you have few to no options when it comes to a display stand for your trade show booth, put those fears to rest. With a little creativity, it’s possible to put together a professional trade show display for the standard 8ft or 10ft wide booth that is inexpensive without looking cheap.
There’s a difference between those two qualities – inexpensive and cheap – and you want to ensure your display stand is the first and not the second. Don’t sacrifice your organization’s image or message in your quest for a budget-friendly display.
There are several low cost options, all costing about $1K, that get you into the show inexpensively, without looking cheap:
1) The first option is a mediawall or backdrop graphic, cost about $995. These simple but elegant backdrops use a tension fabric graphic that attaches two ways – either over the black drape, or in place of the black curtain provided by the show. It uses the frame already at the show that holds the black drape. The entire graphic folds up about pillow case size, and weighs less than 5 lbs – a full display in a bag!
2) Another option is a pillow case backdrop display like the Waveline display – also costing just under $1K, is uses an aluminum pole frame and a graphic that slips over the frame and zips up. Installation takes 10 minutes, and the display weighs about 25 lbs – no expensive shipping costs, drayage fees, or installation fees.
3) If even the top two choices are out of reach of your budget, another option is using several popup banner displays. Available in different sizes, retractable & telescopic banner stands can be placed side by side to take the place of a larger display. Pop up banners for trade shows are easy to set up, and, for those with larger budgets, also work very well as complements to larger displays.
4) Another option budget-conscious trade show exhibitors should consider is using a rental or a used display. Using a rental display can get you the one-time use of a very expensive display for a fraction of the cost. Often exhibitors sell displays that are still in excellent condition, because the company is changing their look or graphics.
With any of these inexpensive approaches, you may want to supplement your booth with a banner stand, printed table throw, etc. With some investigative work, you can find display options that will enable you to put together a professional-looking booth that doesn’t compromise your organization’s image or your budget.
