Trade Show Displays – Three Keys To Added Success

Exhibition stands are the most important aspect of your presentation at large trade shows or events. After all, most exhibitors are at the show in order to find new clients – and you need to attract new eyeballs to do that. custom modular trade show booth - eco materials-resized-600

Of course, you have to close the deal with quality products and a great presentation, but the stand is what you use to draw their eyes and get the process started.

Here are three keys to remember when planning your display area:

Choose the right event

Now, this does not mean that you should limit your attendance to events that are specific to your field of business. As a matter of fact, shows and conventions that are not related to your business in any way can sometimes be the most beneficial because there is less direct competition.

It is far more important that you consider the attendees at the event. If they are likely to be members of your target audience, then you should be able to promote your business very effectively, regardless of the industry to which the event typically caters.

You need to understand what the other trade show displays at the
event are probably going to look like. This allows you to see what you can add to your display to set yourself apart from the other and become a memorable presenter for months after the event.

Plan thoroughly

Your budget is a big part of this step. You should lay everything out well in advance, from the color of the trade show table cover to the graphics on your business cards. Remember to leave yourself some breathing room in the budget because you are inevitably going to need to change, add or update something at the last minute. It happens even if you’re a veteran when it comes to planning exhibition stands.

Of course, once you’re at the show and have the prospect standing there, admiring your innovative trade show booth design, you have to seal the deal with an outstanding product and sales pitch – and an even better lead follow-up process. The point is that exhibition stands are where the process starts, and you have to take the time to get that right.
