3 Not-So-Nice Things Your Trade Show Displays Are Saying About You

Think that being really, really nice and professional at trade shows, conventions, and fairs is enough to make up for a lackluster display?

Think again!boothbuddy_mainimage-resized-600

You don’t have to spend an arm and a leg to get great trade show displays.  What you lack in budget can easily be made up for in creativity.

Overlook the details, and your trade show displays are going to say these 3 not-so-nice things about you:

1.  You’re lazy

Great trade show displays don’t just pop out of thin air.  They take lots of work – both in the design phase and in the set-up time.  If you wind up heading to fairs and conventions with trade show displays that are just “so-so”, you’re showing everyone that you don’t have the initiative to come up with something better.  And, really, who wants to do business with a lazy company?

2.  You have an identity crisis

If your signage is too small or your pop-up displays are too hard to understand, no one’s going to be able to tell who you are or what you do.  And, if people don’t have any idea what kind of products and services you offer, they’re never going to stop and chat.

3.  You’re boring

OK, so that table cover looks nice, and it displays your company name prominently.  However, if that’s all you’ve got, people are going to pass you right by – and, instead, head for the trade show display that’s innovative and eye-catching.  Boring trade show displays show that you either lack money or your lack creativity – and neither one makes you look good!
