Trade Show Booths Yardstick of Success – ROI (ROO … and ROR)

One of our partners recently presented a very well written analysis of the trade show process, and how to understand, measure and improve ROI as an exhibitor at trade shows.

Measuring, understanding, and improving trade show ROI is essential, especially in these financially turbulent times. For lots of businesses, cost cutting is the knee jerk reaction. But what costs should you cut?! What if the cost you cut actually provides substantial long term profits?

The process understanding trade show ROI is important both to exhibitors and also to trade show industry suppliers. It is impossible to know which shows might be skipped or downsized, unless the exhibitor understands how to measure the importance of those items and know which are essential and which are just fluff.

Suppliers need to help customers make sound decisions, cutting costs on non-essential parts of their display and maximizing the impact and return on investment from their display and graphics. There are lots of ways for suppliers to help clients make smarter choices, with lighter displays, tool-less setups, multi-use displays and graphics, etc.
