When preparing your trade show booth ideas and plans, it is very helpful to know more about the people and organizations that will be attending your upcoming show. Let’s say you meet Jane Smith from XYZ Corp. Ms. Smith appears to be a great lead for your company. Wouldn’t it be helpful to know that she is the purchasing manager for her company? Maybe you’d like to know their sales volume, or where they’re located geographically. If any of that information sounds valuable, then take some time to obtain and analyze the trade show prospectus. One show’s prospectus may differ in the number of details provided from another one, but each of them will be helpful to you.

Keep in mind that the show producer wants you to exhibit at their show. They want you to invest your money at their event, and their website is designed to pull in exhibitors – remember, exhibitors are their customers – the attendees are your customers, not theirs! Find out as much as you can on the show’s website, but then take it upon yourself to verify the data that they provide.
